Share-safe photos/Flipper
Flip / Mirror Photo
Mirror horizontally or flip vertically before posting.
About this tool
Mirror a selfie so it matches what you see in a mirror, or flip a scan that came in upside down. Choose horizontal and/or vertical flip, preview, then download — processing stays on your device.
How to use
- Upload a photo.
- Choose flip horizontal and/or vertical.
- Check text and logos in the preview.
- Download the mirrored result.
When to use it
Selfies and outfit checks
Front cameras often feel “wrong” when left and right are swapped versus a mirror. A horizontal flip can match the reflection you are used to before a dating or social upload.
Product shots for symmetry
Some sellers mirror a photo to compare layouts. Remember logos and labels will reverse — avoid mirroring packaging with readable text.
Upside-down imports
A vertical flip (or Rotate 180°) fixes pages and posters that imported inverted. Use Rotate when you need quarter turns instead.
How this compares
Rotate turns the image in place; Flip mirrors it. Cropper changes framing without mirroring. If you need both upright orientation and a mirrored selfie, rotate first, then flip. Neither step replaces EXIF cleanup for public home photos.
Things to keep in mind
- Horizontal mirror reverses text, license plates, and logos — double-check before Marketplace posts.
- Flipping is permanent on the download; keep the unmirrored original.
- Do not use mirroring to “hide” identifying details; use Photo Redactor for that.
- Batch carefully: one wrong flip on a labeled product wastes a listing slot.
FAQ
- Will text look reversed?
- Yes — horizontal mirror reverses text and logos. Use it for faces or scenes, not documents with readable text.
- Flip vs rotate 180°?
- Rotate 180° turns the photo upside down without mirroring left-right. Horizontal flip mirrors as a looking-glass would.
- Does flipping upload my photo?
- No. It runs in your browser only.
- Can I flip both ways?
- Yes — combine horizontal and vertical when the import is both mirrored and inverted.
