Share-safe photos/HEIC → JPG

HEIC to JPG Converter

Convert iPhone HEIC/HEIF photos to JPG so they open on Windows and Android.

About this tool

iPhones often save HEIC/HEIF by default. Email, Windows PCs, and many Android apps still expect JPG. Convert locally in your browser, download the JPG, then share or upload — nothing is sent to our servers. For public posts, run Remove GPS & EXIF on the JPG afterward.

How to use

  1. Add one or more HEIC/HEIF files (batch is fine).
  2. Pick JPG quality if you want a smaller file.
  3. Download each result as it finishes.
  4. Optional: open EXIF Remover on the JPG before you post publicly.

When to use it

AirDrop or email to a Windows PC

A blank preview or “can’t open this file” on Windows Photos is the usual HEIC symptom. Convert here, then open or attach the JPG. If the listing site also caps file size, compress next.

Marketplace and rental dashboards

Many seller and host portals prefer or require JPG/JPEG. Convert first so buyers and guests can see the image in any browser, then strip location metadata before publish.

Sharing with relatives on Android

Group chats and older phones may reject HEIC. A JPG avoids “please resend” loops without installing codecs on their devices.

How this compares

Apple’s own export and some Windows codec packs also work, but they need installs or cable sync. Online converters that upload your album create a privacy risk for home and family photos. This tool stays in the browser. Conversion is not the same as privacy cleanup — pair with EXIF Remover when the JPG will be public.

Things to keep in mind

  • JPG is lossy; use higher quality for listings and portfolios, lower for quick previews.
  • Some Live Photo or exotic HEIC variants need Chrome or Edge; Safari support varies.
  • Transparency is not a HEIC→JPG concern the way it is for PNG; expect a standard photo JPG.
  • Conversion alone does not guarantee GPS is gone — strip EXIF on the result if you will post it.

FAQ

Is conversion lossless?
JPG is lossy. Use high quality for listings; lower quality when you only need a quick preview.
Why did a file fail?
Some HEIC variants or multi-frame Live Photos need a Chromium-based browser. Try Chrome or Edge, or export JPG from the iPhone first.
Can I convert several photos at once?
Yes. Add multiple HEIC files and download each JPG as it finishes.
Will Windows Photos open the result?
Yes in nearly all cases — JPG is the compatible format those PCs expect.
